9th – 12th Grade

The Horizon program is designed for youth in 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grades. Horizon teens are encouraged to participate in activities as individual members or with other group members. In the Horizon program, teens are given the opportunity to create and build their own horizons or their own futures. Activities are design to examine ideas, values, morals, and experiences. “Reflection” projects provide focus for teens on self choices and decisions, future goals and planning, and self reliance skills. Teens typically being working toward the Wohelo Award in Horizon.

Horizon participants are encouraged to explore opportunities for life after high school – lifestyles, career directions, and hobbies. Members use personal skills through community involvement and sharing expertise.
