Camp Zanika is always looking for doctors (MDs), nurses (RNs), or EMTs to volunteer for a week or more during our summer sessions. These volunteers work beside our terrific staff and campers throughout the week, not only working the nurses cabin, but participating in with staff during activities and helping to provide campers with memories that will last a lifetime. Volunteering medical personnel reside in their own cabin on camp, known affectionately as the Holiday House. This cabin has its own bathroom with hot & cold water, as well as its own refrigerator. The cabinets and drawers contain all the supplies a doctor, nurse, or EMT may need for general medical needs that may arise during a summer session, as well as a place to lock-up and secure the daily medications of the campers in attendance.
If you are interested in volunteering as a nurse for a week this summer please fill out a volunteer application request here, or you can contact us!
