Camp Fire North Central Washington is actively seeking passionate and community-minded individuals to join our Board of Directors and organizational committees. This is a meaningful opportunity to help guide the direction of our council, support its financial sustainability, and make a lasting impact on the youth and families we serve.
While previous experience with Camp Fire, Camp Zanika, or service on a board or committee is helpful, it is not required. We welcome individuals who are eager to make a difference in their communities and who are dedicated to helping young people thrive.
Just a few hours each month can create a powerful ripple effect in the lives of youth. Our board members come from diverse backgrounds—education, technology, youth development, financial services, media, nonprofit leadership, and more. Together, they guide and support Camp Fire’s mission to help young people find their spark, lift their voice, and discover who they are.

Fundraising and community engagement
Ensuring the sustainability and growth of our programs
Joining a committee is a great way to support Camp Fire’s mission, contribute your expertise, and shape key areas of our programming and operations. Committee members do not need to be board members—everyone is welcome to get involved where their skills and interests fit best.
Fundraising Committee – plan and execute our annual fundraiser
Club Committee – help create, support, and grow Camp Fire clubs across the region
Event Committee – assist at and represent Camp Fire during community events
Camp Zanika Committee – support planning, facilities maintenance, and long-term improvements at Camp Zanika
