Absolutely Incredible Kids Day

Absolutely Incredible Kid Day®

Absolutely Incredible Kid Day® is a national Camp Fire initiative that celebrates the power of encouragement in young people’s lives. On this special day, caring adults—parents, guardians, teachers, mentors, camp staff, and community members—take the time to let a young person know just how truly incredible they are.

What It Is

Every year, millions of kids across the country receive letters, notes, emails, and messages that remind them they are valued, capable, and loved. These small acts of encouragement build confidence, strengthen connections, and help kids discover their sparks.

How Camp Fire NCW Celebrates

At Camp Fire NCW and Camp Zanika, we believe every child deserves to be seen and celebrated. For Absolutely Incredible Kid Day, we:

  • Invite adults in our community to write heartfelt letters to the kids in their lives

  • Share printable templates, prompts, and inspiration

  • Encourage families to participate at home

  • Celebrate our club youth, campers, and community partners

  • Highlight the incredible kids in our programs on social media (with permission)

Why It Matters

A single encouraging message can make a lifelong difference. Kids who feel noticed and supported are more confident, more resilient, and more likely to take healthy risks and pursue their passions.

How You Can Participate

  • Write a letter to a young person in your life

  • Encourage your school, youth group, or workplace to participate

  • Share your message of encouragement (privately or publicly)

  • Spread the word and help lift up the youth in our community

  • Download our letter templates and prompts (coming soon!)

Let’s come together to remind every kid just how incredible they truly are.
Join us in celebrating Absolutely Incredible Kid Day®—and help lift up the next generation with the power of your words.
